Back to the Hospital again

I thought that we were done with tubes and hoses and IVs, but Jordan thought different.

As you know both twins have been sick. Last night Jordan was having a very difficult time breathing. They tell me she was "retracting", meaning that she was sucking in her stomach and contracting her chest trying to get air. I guess that is bad.

Kari and Mary Ellen took her to the ER. I am not sure what time. I was in Oakland and had been asleep about an hour when Kari called. She sounded a bit distraught. That was about 4 a.m. California time. I called crew scheduling and they got me on the next flight to Houston at 6 a.m. and I arrived at the Hospital about 12:45. Jordan is doing much better. They have been giving her nebulizer treatments, using a bronchio-dialator (I will figure out how to spell that later.) which has really helped.

The Doc was just here and said we are good to go home. That means that I just called Kari to come get us before she even got home. The poor girl has not slept in about 36 hours. Fortunately, Mary Ellen was kind enough to stay at the house and help out. Now the only problem is that nobody at our house will have had more than 2 hours sleep in the 36 hours, except the kids. This should be fun.
